Intergenerational faith formation is a powerful dynamic in a faith community. It also may be a best kept secret in many faith communities. Churches have tended to organize around age specific ministries. While this is important, we know from research and experience that when generations gather together it can have a profound impact on a community and can create a vibrant intergenerational culture of faith. This program explores the “what and why” of intergenerational faith formation and strategies of how generations learn pray, worship, serve, care together effectively.
